Ingredients:


– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
– 1 cup cherry pie filling
– 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into squares or rectangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each pastry square.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle or rectangle shape. Use a fork to crimp the edges and seal the pastry.
  5. Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
