Ingredients:

4 cups (1 liter) whole milk

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

3 tablespoons cornstarch

3 egg yolks

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

PREPARATION:

Prepare the Custard Base:

In a medium saucepan, whisk the milk, sweetened condensed milk, and cornstarch until fully dissolved.

Add the egg yolks and whisk until smooth.

Cook the Custard:

Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously to prevent lumps or burning.

Cook until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble about 8–10 minutes gently.

Add Vanilla and Chocolate Chips:

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Fold in the chocolate chips, allowing them to be distributed evenly throughout the custard.

Assemble the Dessert:

Pour the custard into a large serving dish or individual cups.

Smooth the top with a spatula for an even finish.

Chill:

Allow the dessert to cool slightly, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.

Serve:

Serve chilled with a spoon, and enjoy the creamy texture and bursts of chocolate in every bite!

This simple yet satisfying dessert will surely be a hit with family and friends!
