Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
- Cook the Sausage: Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot, breaking it up into smaller pieces. Remove excess fat if necessary. Add onion and garlic and cook until the onion is soft and fragrant.
