Ingredients:

For the Cheeseburger Filling:

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

1 small onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of cheddar and American cheese)

For the Quesadillas:

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for extra gooeyness)

Butter or cooking spray, for grilling

Ketchup

PREPARATION:

Cook the Cheeseburger Filling:

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the onion is softened.

Fold the tortilla in half over the filling to create a half-moon shape.

Serve:

Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool slightly before slicing into wedges.

Serve with optional toppings like sliced pickles, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce, or with dips such as sour cream, ketchup, and mustard.
