Cream Cannoncini Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Pastry:

1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)

1 large egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

¼ cup granulated sugar (for sprinkling)

PREPARATION:

For the Vanilla Cream Filling:

1 ½ cups whole milk

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup granulated sugar

3 large egg yolks

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Decoration:

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Melted chocolate or crushed nuts (optional)
