Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
PREPARATION:
Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add Broth and Cream: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Then add the heavy cream, stirring to combine. If using, add the Italian seasoning.
Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to soak up the flavors and the sauce to thicken slightly.
Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan, if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides like rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
Enjoy your creamy garlic butter chicken!
