Ingredients:
1 pound bacon, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 head of cabbage, chopped
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup heavy cream (optional, for a richer flavor)
Directions:
Cook Bacon:
In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from pot and set aside.
Sauté Vegetables:

Add Vegetables and Liquids:
