Ingredients
- 2 rings kielbasa sausage (13.9 oz each)
- 1 cup Kansas City-style barbecue sauce
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Kielbasa: Slice each kielbasa ring into 1/4-inch thick coins, leaving about 1/3 of each slice attached.
Tip: Use chopsticks or skewers as a slicing guide to avoid cutting all the way through.
Cut crosswise into 1-inch segments to make bite-sized pieces (about 20 per ring), then place them in a large bowl. - Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, and maple syrup until well combined.
Reserve 1/2 cup of the sauce. - Coat and Cook: Pour the remaining sauce over the kielbasa and toss gently to coat.
Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until nicely browned and caramelized. - Serve: Transfer cooked kielbasa bites to a platter. Brush with 1/4 cup of the reserved sauce and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve warm with the remaining sauce on the side for dipping.
Storage & Reheating
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven until warmed through.
