Seafood Bisque with Crab, Shrimp, and Lobster

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb crab meat, cooked
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
    Instructions:
  1. Sauté aromatics: Melt 2 tbsp butter, cook onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Add flour: Whisk in flour to make a roux, cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add broth and wine: Gradually whisk in broth and wine (if using). Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add cream and milk: Stir in heavy cream and whole milk. Simmer until heated through.
  5. Add seafood: Stir in crab meat, shrimp, and lobster meat. Cook until seafood is heated through.
  6. Season: Add smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
