Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients:

½ cups of canned sweet potatoes, alternatively use 2-3 roasted, peeled or pureed sweet potatoes
¾ cup of sugar
2 big eggs

¼ cup of milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of softened butter
¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg

¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt to taste
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell, homemade or bought.

PREPARATION:

Stage 1:

Preheat the broiler to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Stage 2:

Blend the yams, a half cup of the sugar, eggs, margarine, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt with an electric blender. Pass on it to blend until it is mixed, smooth and without knots.

Stage 3:

Empty the mixed combination into the pie shell and sprinkle with the leftover one fourth of the sugar on it. Pass on the pie to remain like that for 15 minutes prior to baking to permit the sprinkled sugar to dissolve well.

Stage 4:

Place in the broiler to prepare until it is finished. You can really look at it following 60 minutes. Pass on it to cool prior to serving and partake in the taste.

Tips:

For you to know whether it is appropriately finished within the pie, embed a toothpick in the middle, when it confesses all, then, at that point, you can eliminate it from the broiler.
